The secret is the time — leaving at 6:30 a.m., we arrive at Maya Bay and Pileh Lagoon before the fleets coming from Phuket, then we continue the afternoon on the icons of Krabi: Poda, Chicken Island and the Tup sandbank.

- Morning at Phi Phi: Calm Maya Bay, swimming in the emerald lagoon of Pileh, snorkeling on the reef, Monkey Beach.
- Afternoon at the 4 Islands: the Poda monolith, the “chicken head” rock, and walking on the Tup sandbank at low tide.
Know before you book
- Early bird required: the 6:30 a.m. pick-up is the price to pay to see Maya Bay without the crowds — and it's worth it.
- Maya Bay closes from August 1 to September 30 each year (alternate site during this time).
- Park fee: THB 400 per adult, cash on site (not included).
